About the Book
The book has been divided in three parts. In first part, basic principles of Ayurved specially related with understanding the effect of food like energetic principles etc. have been explained. The part two deals with all the aspects of Ayurvedic concepts of nutrition, rules and regulations of eating and various concepts like contradictory food. Part three deals with various recipes. These have been divided into 13 chapters like beverages, snacks, leaf vegetables and non-leafy vegetables, rice, chapati, sweets etc. Each recipe has been explained with its effects on doshas, time of preparation, method of preparation etc. In all more than 100 food recipes have been described in the book.
